An employee who has been with the company for five years demonstrates long-term reliability and loyalty. It is worth showing your appreciation to such employees because it teaches them that you value their hard work. There are many different approaches to take when deciding on fifth year professional anniversary gifts; personalized or unique office gifts are the norm.

  1. Company Watch

    • Company watches are among some of the most common corporate anniversary gifts, but they are not your average, everyday watches. These are usually expensive watches with the company logo or name and anniversary date engraved on them. These watches represent prestige and status within a company.

    Club Membership

    • Many companies and businesses like to give memberships as corporate anniversary gifts. Memberships can be to gym or fitness clubs, or even a country or business club that the company is associated with. Memberships to gyms, fitness clubs or golf and country clubs are usually expensive and desirable and serve as a thoughtful gift to employees who have proven the test of time.

    Office Gifts

    • Not all companies can afford to lavish expensive anniversary gifts on their employees. Personalized office gifts, such as a pen and mechanical pencil set, leather folder, paperweight or briefcase with the company logo emblazoned on them are useful gifts that the employee will enjoy. They add a certain amount of prestige and recognition toward the employee without blowing the budget.

    Gift Card

    • In a large company, it may not be possible to know all the different personalities and interests of each employee, but everyone enjoys some kind of monetary reward. Consider giving the employee a pre-paid gift card from a national institution, such as Visa or American Express, or provide a gift card to a local restaurant or department store. This is an easy way out for employers who don't want to give gifts that will go unappreciated.
